3 Bet - Free Poker Tips

A 3 bet is to re raise after an initial open raise e.g. player A opens to $8 at $1/$2 and you re-raise to $25. You are putting in the 3 bet with this raise. A 3 bet can also be a re raise post flop but is usually associated with a re-raise before the flop.
